What to use to catch shot/hold coolant?

Title says it. What can I use to catch my shot and hold my coolant? I see alot of ammo cans. Does it have to be metal?

If plastic it would have to be off a very high melting point.

I use a 20mm ammo can, sitting in a large plastic tub, for overflow. It works great. I use a cheap kerosene hand pump to pump the antifreeze back into the ammo can after the shot basket is removed (40-50lbs of shot). The fluid is down about 1 inch at that point. Thats when I refill with the hand pump, and start over.
