Cleanin up the brass

Finally got those cast boolits pulled and now I have to figure out the best way to clean the "rare" Freedom Arms brass. Looking down into the case mouth powder has stuck to the lube left in the case after pulling the bullet. Don't really want to deprime if I don't have to. A suggestions? Thanx , captn-tin

Small bottle brush

Use a 44 Bronze brush. Then just swab them out.

I would give them a quick blast from my air hose.

I would use a rag wetted with lighter fluid on a small screwdriver. Invert the case and scrape with this and it'll clean and leave the primer untouched.

There was a thread around here not too long ago about tumbling primed cases with no ill effect. I believe some even reported wet tumbling in pins also didn’t have an effect on the primers once they dried. I know I had one make it in with deprimed cases by mistake and I marked it to know it from the rest afterwords and loaded and fired just fine.

To each his own , no way I would wet tumble hot primed brass I wanted to use .
It is to simple to wipe or blow them out the lube in the case won't hurt a thing .

I agree. I won't dry tumble primed brass either.
