    CVA 300 blackout pistol

I am planning on buying a CVA pistol to go with my CVA 300 blackout rifle. I was planning on buying the 11 1/2" version. I thought about trying the 120gr. TAC- TX bullets from Barnes. With the shorter barrel do you think I would still be okay using 296 powder?

300 blackout was originally designed for short barrels so it'll work fine.

I'd love to hear what you think of your CVA 300 BO rifle and pistol. I got a 35 Remington CVA rifle on a closeout at KY gun store and it's a tack driver.

I haven't had a chance to shoot them yet. But my CVA V2 45/70 shoots really good. I will update when I get out and shoot them.

My next .300 Blackout will be a 10” or 12” twist for accurate cast bullet use. If I have to build it myself. I have a 1-7” 16” AR that doesn’t shoot cast to my specs but is great with lightweight jacketed up to 150 grains so it is the main house defense rifle.

Breakopen designs work much better with rimmed cartridges.

Is the takedown scout any good? Thinking I'd get one.
    Whatever!
