Anyone seen one of these? S333 volleyfire revolver

Standard Manufacturing is producing a revolver that is like nothing I have ever seen before.
An eight shot cylinder, volley fire revolver. It fires two rounds with each trigger pull.
The trigger requires two fingers to pull. It has two 1 1/4 inch barrels side by side and both barrels fire simultaneously with a single trigger pull.
    Chambered in 22 magnum rimfire.

Here is a link to a review. https://www.gunsamerica.com/digest/s...hot-show-2019/
I got to handle it today. It is definitely an unusual gun. Obviously designed as a pocket gun.
The trigger pull is long and stiff. DA only. The trigger is set up to use two fingers to pull and you pretty much need them.
I didn't get to fire it so I can't give any kind of report about it.
I have never seen or heard of one before. Anybody out there with any experience with one?

Odd looking gun, I would like to put my hands on one! Just to see how it feels in my hand!
Question, is a double tap one pull of the trigger, or two? Or would that be a quad tap!

Never seen or herd of one before. I did short review from material in post. Conclusion, worthless.
Novelty item that is capable of making empties out of live cartridges, twice as fast as run of the mill junk.

I saw one in the Dunhams case amid all the empty spaces where guns are supposed to be. I wondered if it fired 2 at once or if it alternated barrels . They wanted $460 for it so I was not interested enough to track down someone to get it out for me to look at. For $200 I would have been.

Pretty much my opinion as well. With a barrel that short, the 22magnum doesn't give significantly more performance, if any, that regular 22LR. That trigger is a real problem for me.

I don't really see the need or utility for that matter. I saw a write-up a few years ago about a twin barreled .45 modified 1911 in .45acp. Never saw a need or want for that one either. james

It’ll show up in a sci-fi movie like the odd 4 bbl .357 COP in Bladerunner did, but that’s about all.

I shot one last year. It belongs to a friend that buys all the weird firearms. I don't think the barrel was rifled which would explain the poor accuracy even a short distances. The reason for the long trigger seems to be leverage. You need all help you can get to make it fire. Trigger pull was in the double digits.

When I first saw one my first thought was a solution looking for a problem.
There is no problem so great, that it cannot be solved by the proper application of high explosives.

One of the ugliest looking guns made and probably a solution looking for a problem. That aside, its probably sold on the merits of curiosity more than anything. The deal breaker to me, the trigger guard or lack there of. Not only is the trigger open to snag but the stupid thing in front of it! It looks like it was born to snag on things! How in the hell did that make it to production that way is beyond me. I've never seen a gun with what is essentially a hook on it and this is supposed to be a defensive gun!

I remember that pistol. It actually made a movie appearance. Deadpool 2. It appeared but wasn't fired in the show.

Looks like something my buddy would have bought. He likes those answers to questions that no one asked. If I need two rounds then I pull the trigger twice unless my selector says AUTO. Other than that, YES I think it looks cool and YES if I saw it at the range I would want to shoot it.

I don't think I'd buy one even if it was only $19.95.

It looks strange enough that I might have bought it.
    If the price was right.
