Question Are Pedersoli 1874 Sharps Drilled & Tapped for Scope Mounts?

My Google-Fu is weak and I have been unable to find out if Pedersoli 1874 Sharps rifles come from the factory drilled & tapped for scope mounts.

I’m hopeful some of you that own these rifles will be able to answer.

    Thank you!

The bottom 40/65 had to be drilled and tapped for one mount the other fitter the rear sight holes

No they are not drilled and tapped for a scope from the factory.

If you order a Shiloh or C Sharps, they will drill and tap for scope mounts before shipping

Like others comment the Pedersolis are not drilled for scope mounts. I've added the MVA winchester 5x and the deluxe micrometer mounts to my Pedersoli 1874 Sharps Sihlouette. I have a mini milling machine and i do cnc machining by trade so i drilled my barrel myself. Not too difficult just takes a lot of carefull positioning and preparational measurements. The Pedersoli barrels are quite soft and easy to actually drill and tap. Once i had the scope mounted, then i needed to do a lot of trajectory testing to caculate my scopes elevation click values. Heres a pic of my Sharps
