I have been reloading pistol and rifle for years and am now getting into shotgun reloading. I have a Lyman 525 slug mold that I thought I would use... My slugs are coming out between 678 and 680 in size and between 489 to 491 in weight.
My alloy is WW with 2% pewter added, Should I add in more pure lead to up the weight and downsize the diameter? Do you shoot at this size or does someone make a sizing die for shotgun slugs?
Any help would be appreciated...
