Saw DRM50 mention Herters so I drug mine out of the safe.

At a gun auction about 5 years ago saw it setting with about 50 other single actions, My first thought was a Black Hawk, but something didn't look right, picked it up and and thought I should try for it. No one bid on it so I got it cheap.

Picked up my first 44mag yesterday, a Smith &Wesson M69 4.25in. Loaded up 100 ladder loads with Universal and IMR4227 (the old stuff in the metal can) using 240gr LSWC. It preferred both loads near or at max charge. Lots more load development to do.

This was the best group at 15yds free hand, load was 24gr IMR4227.

    How does she extract ?

    Hopefully better than mine did.

Been tempted to buy another and try again.

What kind of grips are on the top ? I’m looking for something in rubber, but larger than the Houge monogrip or Pachmeyrs...

Why is this thread only rated 1 star?
Paper targets aren't your friends. They won't lie for you and they don't care if your feelings get hurt.
