I guess the closest number fo me would be 4.5 - pretty well set with the exception of I wish I had more small pistol primers on hand - down to 500 so not desperate but would like to have a couple K on the shelf - every place I checked a few weeks ago was out and still are out - is what it is.

I must be at Defcon 6 as I have friends going thru my powders. Must be Defcon 6 for components but I need to assemble them into ammo. Waterfowl shotgun ammo I think I have enough for the next 6 years.

Rudyard Kipling once said "A man can never have too much books, ammunition, or red wine." Another famous saying is that by the time you hear the sirens it's already too late. If you wait until there's a shortage of something to stock up you've already failed. Buy cheap, stack deep, and always be at Defcon 6.

I have plenty of everything except lead. You can never have enough lead.

I’d say I’m 5.5, I have tons of loaded and most of the supplies I need but would like more tm so I can attempt some additional cartridges.

My biggest need is in lead not because I’m lacking terribly but only cause I’m younger (kids are still literally toddlers) and don’t have enough to last me a year of supply with normal free time much less “lifetime supply”.

Defcon 5-6. Raw lead, alloy brass primers, hulls, powder, cast, swagged, jacketed, etc. Bullets, shot. Most importantly the tools and skills to make all of the above except brass.

Defcon 6-7+: I have way more reloading components and ammo than I actually can use. And about two tons of lead marked with brindle hardness.

5.5 here, good shape for loaded ammo. Also COWW, primers, and lots of Red Dot. Various and sundry others, but I mostly load Red Dot these days.
Easy on my shoulder, easy on my wallet, accurate enough to keep me happy.
I truly believe we need to get back to basics.

    Get right with the Lord.
    Get back to the land.
Get back to thinking like our forefathers thought.

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you
and give you His peace. Let all of the earth – all of His creation – worship and praise His name! Make His
    praise glorious!

4.5 for me also. I have less than a K of SP primers but enough ammo that I won't worry much. I'm pretty well set, just need to get busy again. You never know when the ZA will happen.

I’m down to about 400 large pistol magnum primers. Aside from that, I am doing ok.

I am at a Four. I have lots of some things (Eight pound jug of Promo) but not enough of others. Rifle primers I am good for a while, large and small. Small pistol primers, I have less than a thousand left, and as you pistol shooters know, that isn't a lot. Also, I shoot some old-timers that I don't have a lot of brass for.

I don't know if I have enough primers and powder because i don't know how long the drought will be. During good times I usually like to have 4k of each type on hand. Now I'm trying to stock double that. I have a few tons of lead so I'm set for life on that.

I’m going to call myself 4.5.
I just struck a deal with a co-worker for about 25# of misc powders all NOS for about 50% under retail. He is selling off a friend’s estate for the family and made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. I’m hoping to see some primers get offered up as he sifts through everything. Now if only I could get some time at home to actually do some serious loading...
