    3/4 C-H Jackets...

I just returned from a visit with an old (!) club member who is gradually fading from the hobby. He used to mold and swage his bullets. He has three full or mostly full boxes of copper jackets from C-H in 357, 44, and 45 size and said he would like to sell them.

I'm not into this facet of the hobby so I know nothing about their value or even if anyone is interested in buying them.

If someone could so advise, I'll get a posting in the swappin' and selling forum. I could get a good count and some pictures if that would help.

    Thanks,

    Dave

    Hi Dave
I just checked the CH website at "http://www.ch4d.com/". They are selling 500 9mm jackets for 47$, .40 jackets for 63$, .44 jackets for 74$, and .45 jackets for 78$. Their 101 series dies are currently running at 129$. I already have a supply of jackets, but would be interested in purchasing .30 and .45 die sets if they're available.

    Michael,

The price you quoted from CH is for 1000 jackets, not 500.

I'm interested in the 357 jackets.
Have a die on order from CH4D.
Could use a core mold and roll crimp or knurling tool.

What are the jacket lengths? I might be interested in the 44 or 45 jackets.
