30/06 case to 9.3x62
On the left an unsized 30/06 case, already trimmed to 62mm (using a 30/06 Lee case trimmer with 1mm removed from the shoulder where the case cutter screws in. - the next 30/06 case length guage will be only cut back to 0.85mm as the cases are a bit short of minimum case length for 9.3x62 at the end. 2.2400
then a 30/06 expanded to 9.3" (first expansion step),
Next expanded to 0.416" through a modified Lee neck belling die - I made the insert from a Cooey 22 rifle barrel.
And on the right, run through a lee 9.2x62 full length size die.
The cases were not annealed, I only lost 2 to split necks. My fault for not getting them square in the shell holder
