Today I looked at the sorry state of my Beretta 96D grip screws an got online to order some... Well at $3 each I started thinking about powder coating the sorry looking ones instead.

After heating up the oven, I held the threads with a long tweezer and just pressed the head into a small cup, cleaned the screwdriver slot with a razor blade, and baked them along with a sorry looking aluminum mag base pad. While they're a bit tacky (I do carry concealed after all) it's cheaper than paying for nickel

I've powder coated whole guns, way better finish than ceracoat or alumiahyde or any of them, much tougher. I used a electrostatic spay gun, just be mindfull of tolerances powder can build up quickly in tight corners.

I went with the ordering new screws from Bretta . With S&h the two screws where like 7$ each
