traditions G2 (now called G3)/cva hunter triggers

I picked this up in Feb & just got my first chance to shoot it. Sighted in at 50 yds and was very happy with its accuracy
BUT, that trigger. I first thought I left the safety on! it breaks very clean but it must be 9 pounds(dont have a scale)
Has anyone made a fix for this or worked on theres?

I guess I never heard of a Traditions CVA, to my knowledge they are 2 separate gun makers. They look similar,I do own 3 CVA s & the triggers on mine are very good.

I have a CVA wolf inline and a traditions flintlock. The triggers are fine.

I got some tipton snapcaps and dry fired it a couple hundred times. It helped but I still feel its too hard breaking & holding me back - accounting for my fliers(9.7xblue dot under sierra 158gr. jsp at 50 yds)Click image for larger version.

I have wanted one since H&R went belly up. But Id like a 35 Rem and its not a catalogued caliber.

Id do 300 BO but dont really "need" another.

I picked up a CVA 44 MAG. Since my last post. It has a real nice trigger. If your not paying attention. It will fire before you know it. I should check it with my pull scale. I had it out yesterday busting bricks at 50 yards.
