    ShootersWorld Tactical Rifle Powder Equivalents

SW shows 3 different ID Numbers for the Tactical Rifle Powder. I have D073-08. Can anyone tell me if Winchester 748 data can be used with this powder? The D073-5 designator for LOVEX manufactured Tactical Rifle shows a burn rate equivalent to Winchester 748. Are all the Tactical Rifle Powders the same even though they have different designator numbers.

The three listed numbers in the latest Shooters World manual are:
    D073-01
    D-073-08
    D073-5

    Any info is appreciated!

    Thank You!
    Dale

Just use the data from SW or Lovex. They both have 556 and 223 data.

I'm trying to load 170 grain "Deep Curl" bullets in a .308 Winchester. Speer Tech gave 3 loads that average about 2070 FPS using IMR4350 39-41 grains, AA5744 26-28 grains, and Reloader 25 42-44 grains. Apparently there is a pressure curve with these bullets in .308 Winchester. I'm trying to figure out if there is a load using Tactical Rifle that can make these velocities safely.

Email the company. I had a question about their powders and they replied right away.

H4895 would be a lot better powder to get you at 2K than 4350 or rl25. 5744 will do it too. Being a ball powder I doubt it will work.
