I went to my LGS yesterday in Pendleton, OR. I picked up 8 pounds of Green Dot and primers. He seemed to have plenty.

I’m no expert but I would think Ammo manufacturers are keeping components for their production lines to try and keep up with demand for Ammo. I tell all of my friends I tell all of my friends the time to buy things like Ammo reloading components and general prep stuff is when you DONT need it but it is on sale or just a good deal buy it cheap stack it deep have you even know Ammo primers or powder to really go down in value

There is one drawback of having too many primers and too much powder. Selling it involves haz mat shipping something most of us don't know how to do. Even ammo needs ORMD. When 22 rimfire as hard to find I bought a bunch and I have hardly shot any of it. I think some of it is crap, more misfires than usual. Live and learn.

I guess it depends on just which primers and what powder you want. Winchester primers are out of stock in every on-line source I checked, and that was just yesterday. Unique powder, and TrailBoss powder is also out of stock, no back order.
