    Improving my improvisation

So I bought a big bag of random boolits mostly ro get the .44 cal slugs. There are some that went in the pot but then there are some humongo 58 cal slugs for a ML rifle. They weigh 500 gr. i think and I wanted to wrap the in paper till they fit the wad cup tight then load as a Lyman 525. So long as it fits right in the hull and weighs no more than 525gr. , what do you guys think?

.575" bullets fit right in a wad for 20 gauge. They are a poor choice for 12 gauge.

In the pot they go. For a minute there I thought I was a slick paper patcher.

Could have just started looking for a 58 caliber side lock, that’s what a lot of us do when we wind up with a few bullets

I once bought two boxes of 32 gauge cartridges (rare Belgian-made FN aluminum shells)- and I didn't even have a gun in that caliber at the time.

I had a 8 lb jug of H110 I bought to load all my .44's. That wasn't using it up so I bought a $2000 .410 O/U Shotgun and a loader and 1000 O/F hulls and went to work. Still haven't used it up.
