    A lot ingredients??!

I came across this at work today. It smells like alox. And looks like it, and feels like it. Yet it's in an spray canClick image for larger version.

That deserves some further investigation. Does it dry after a light coat?

Yes. And a thick coat is pretty dry, but sticky. Like alox

I wonder how it compares with Tectyl 506 corrosion inhibitor? I have considered getting a can and spraying it all out into a container to dry and using it as an ingredient. I read somewhere that the original Alox was used as a corrosion inhibitor as well as a lubricant additive to improve lubricity. The test here would be to apply some to boolits and see how well it lubricates. I might just head down to my local marine store and see if they have the marine one.

Tectyl 506 is a preventative compound for rust prone surfaces providing protection against the damaging effects of moisture, chloride and corrosion.
Could it be the same stuff?

Just sprayed 2 coats on some hunting bullets. Took 5 minutes to dry between each coat.
