That deserves some further investigation. Does it dry after a light coat?
Yes. And a thick coat is pretty dry, but sticky. Like alox

I wonder how it compares with Tectyl 506 corrosion inhibitor? I have considered getting a can and spraying it all out into a container to dry and using it as an ingredient. I read somewhere that the original Alox was used as a corrosion inhibitor as well as a lubricant additive to improve lubricity. The test here would be to apply some to boolits and see how well it lubricates. I might just head down to my local marine store and see if they have the marine one.
Could it be the same stuff?Tectyl 506 is a preventative compound for rust prone surfaces providing protection against the damaging effects of moisture, chloride and corrosion.

Looks like nothing more than some paraffins and soft wax

Just sprayed 2 coats on some hunting bullets. Took 5 minutes to dry between each coat.
