Finally a custom grip maker for Ruger's!

I had been looking for years to find someone willing to custom make grips for Ruger revolvers, and I finally found one. The name is Custom Firearm Products. https://www.customfirearmproducts.com/

They are great to work with, and will make any style of grip you ask. I assume they do other custom work as well. From what I gather, they will do any gun, and most importantly, they will do any Ruger. I had target grips made for my SP101. I knew I had to give up some areas to keep things proportional, and that's where these guys are great. They will make, and re-do any changes you need until you are 100% happy. I drew up what I wanted as best as I could. They did a great job the first time around, nearly mirroring exactly what I asked for. I didn't like a couple things, and they changed them no problems at all. I am happy with the result now. I now have a proper set of grips for an SP101 that I can shoot well with. I assume they have all kinds of different woods, finishes, and I know they will do checkering and more. I told them I wanted an oil finished smooth grips, with a rougher finish. I like this, as it allows your hand to find home, yet isn't like holding a bar of soap like some of the highly polished grips can be when you get a little sweat going. That is a palm swell on the left side, not a defect. I'm wrong handed.

Badger makes grips, sure. So do Hogue, and Pachmayr, and more.

Badger "custom" grips are no more custom than the Hogue grips. They aren't custom, they just have a couple choices.

Those are great looking grips and I am interested in something like that too. I went to their web-site that you posted and could not find how to bring up any way to see what they offered. It just looked like a advertisement that did not let me access any photos or info on how to browse or order. Of course I'm not real computer literate so that could be the problem.

They are a true custom grip maker, they do not offer an off the shelf item. Their website is a little goofy. To start, scroll all the way down, and click on custom pistol grips order. Then fill out the form as best you can, and they will send a quote. I beleive it is then best to call them, and state exactly what you want, and he will tell you what you need to do. You will need to send a hand tracing, gun tracing, etc. It is just like ordering through Herrett's grips.
