I sent him a check for the Lee 4-20 Lead pot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now I'm reading I'm screwed!!!!!!!! sent it July 17, tried to find out if he got it but no one responded to my PM!!!!!!!!!!!! there is a bunch of us that got ripped off and
we gotta bust this guys scam............I guess I'll try stopping payment on the check but some of us are taking a really big hit......................

Funny, because I posted in that thread earlier that I would take it. I paid for it via PayPal a week before you sent him a check. THIS IS MAIL FRAUD, and we need to file complaints with the United States Postal Service. It's a felony, and he had to cash those checks and money orders somehow

This is what I got with Google’s street level....
Please report the Paypal and Cash App issues directly to the service provider. They are very interested in weeding out scammers on their platforms.
If your paypal funds actually came from a credit card or tied to a bank account
you can go to the bank and report a fraudulent transaction and the bank will reverse the charges
and get the money back from paypal, and then paypal will take the money back from the thief.
My problem is that he talked me into paying with Paypal F&F. So, I broke the Paypal rules....I think I'm out of $250....
I paid using Venmo. Can’t reverse charges. I’m out $500.
Bushog, that's why I didn't even try to pay with F&F, I just paid him exactly as I pay ever other merchant I pay with PayPal. Here's something a lot of sellers on here pretend not to know, you don't have to use "gun" terminology to describe an item and the amount that PayPal takes is trivial, so if they won't let you use regular PayPal even if you offer the extra 3%, that's definitely something of concern for me.

I don't recommend blowing up his phone asking for your gear as he can simply change the number effectively closing off that potential source to find him. I do suggest contacting the Greg County Sheriff's office indicating you are part of a larger group (who will also be contacting the sheriff's office) that have been scammed out of a substantial amount of money by the above person.

Wanted a police report filed from local PD (if inside city limits) or from sheriff (if outside city)
Then have it forwarded to them in Texas.
FYI. I paid through Cash App, it was complete garbage. Zero support and it is VERY popular among scammers, so is Venmo. Only recourse was with my bank.
