ive owned a 74 bronco sport for over 30 years and just bought my wife a 75 sport but were thinking real hard about her a 2 door black diamond model with the 2,7 ecoboost and 10spd and the sasquatch package, that way it comes with the bigger tires and shocks and rubber floor mats and vinyl seats,i think itll make her a good run around vehicle, way smaller than her h2 and better fuel mileage

I agree. My F350 TD is at 206k, and the only thing I’ve replaced are the consumables (batteries, alternator, starter..), and I didn’t start replacing any of the parts until about 175k.

Been a Ford guy since buying my first truck in 1979. Not sure about this new Bronco. I havent been to pleased with new model Fords. This one is going to need 2-3 years to shake out the bugs. Been looking for a new 4x4 but right now leaning towards a new 2 door Wrangler early next year. Ford will be putting pressure on Jeep and it could result in lower prices.

Ford had a turbocharged 2.3l back in the late 80's in their Thunderbird turbo couple. Single turbo and 188 hp IIRC

My last three brand new Fords; a 2005, a 2009, and a 2012 all had major issues by 50k miles. Three transmissions and a fuel pump and CV joints in another. All were driven strictly on the highway as commuters.

If you think Fords are bad, perhaps you should go to a Jeep forum and read the multitude of common problems with brand new Wranglers.

Yep turbo single and twin units have been around for a while and yeah they do put out the horsepower it does it at higher rpms . I just might be just stuck back in time but I'll still take displacement over boost , my 11 f150 with the 5.0 still gets 21 plus mpg on highway trips not too bad for a full size 4x4 with an automatic and that's up and down hills not out in the Midwest driving on level roads
If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

Not even for sale until Spring of 2021, they will take $100 to hold your order. LOL. I would sure give it a year or two to work out the bugs before buying one.

This actually wouldn't be a bad idea for Ford.

Looks like one of those cheap Jeep things. No thanks. Seems to me the bad years of the 70's garbage are returning
