    .500 Linebaugh molds/dies question

Hi all, I will be buying a BFR in the near future and would like to know what die set and boolit mold you are using? I am looking at Hornady dies for my Lee turret press and 525 grain molds from Accurate. Also are you all resizing after casting?

I really thought about just getting a .475 Linebaugh since it would be a bit easier for reloading and casting equipment simply because I could stick with Lee for the dies, molds and resizer, but I pretty well have the big bore 40’s covered with .44mag, .454Casull and would really like for my last big bore to be a .50 cal. Thanks for any help.

I'd stay away from Hornady dies! Check RCBS for dies and moulds.

I like my Hornady dies. I have the Accurate 51 450C
Drops out at 455gr and .514 and I shoot them pan lubed them unsized.

Were you being specific about 500 Linebaugh and Hornady dies?

My plan is pretty similar to what reloader28 is using and pan lubing with White Label Carnauba Blue. I am also thinking that I might go with brass for this mold.
