These blocks are made just for those very large base calibers that just don't fit into the run of the mill loading blocks that all the retailers sell. I started making these for my own use since I needed blocks to cover my 50 Alaskan, 450/400 Nitro Express, and a number of other European large base cartridges.
We also stock a accessory for this block in case you have need to have a taller block height in order to have more vertical support. Block comes with alignment pins and is designed to sit on top of the Very Large Base Block. Alignment holes have been engineered in both blocks to allow the addition of the extra support block to lock in place on top of the base block. (last image on this thread).
