WTB/WTT for a few 223 Hunting Bullets (soft points)

Need a few bullets for an elderly gentleman to hunt with this fall. He will never shot a box. Anyone have a partial box laying around?

For deer a 64 gr WW slug is supposed to be a good one as are partitions and 60gr gold dots. How many you need and what weight?

following this one. I have several "OPEN" boxes of .224 dia. bullets that would foot this bill. I have 55 gr., 60 gr. 64 gr. 69 gr. and 70 gr.

If you know rate of twist of rifle, that will help us aid you with an optimal bullet.

Considering the hassle of shipping loaded ammunition, might be easier to buy locally.

Is it components (just the bullets) or loaded ammo that you are looking for? If you need loaded ammo, I agree with owejia, just buy a box locally.
Take a kid to the range, you'll both be glad you did.

Do you actually mean 0.223” diameter bullets like for an old hornet or for a rifle in caliber .223 Remington that uses 0.224” bullets?

Edit never mind.....1/9” twist and 65 grains or higher is decidedly not Hornet stuff.

I have a variety of 0.224 dia for modern Hornet specs, not what you are looking for.

A box of winchester 64 grain soft points would work, they come as a cxp2 hunting load or a LE load.

For reloads a box of Sierra 65 grain SP projectiles would work.
