    Lyman 454424a

    Hi,
Sorry if this is redundant, but I searched and found nothing.....
What does the "a" designate in a Lyman mold such as 454424a?
    Something about as cast diameter?

    Thanks!

It was a coding mark by lyman, AFAIK it meant nothing for diameter. U means undersized.

How prophetic! The mold belongs to a guy in Canada. I have family there that asked me about getting it. I told them I'd check up. The idea that it is a cherry number came up as I searched other Lyman molds.
    Thanks for your expertise!
