Enfield lithgow enfield no 1 mark iii 195 gr cast 2400

Slugged the bore it’s .311” going with a 195 gr powder coated bullet that was designed for the k31. After gas check and powder coating it’s .313”. Anyone tried 18-20 gr of 2400?Attachment 264475

I've used 18 gr with a Lee 185 when I had my #4 although some go higher with 2400 18 grs is about my limit with it , if I can't find my accuracy node between 16-18 grs I'll go start again with a slower powder like RE7 ,4198 ect
If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

I used 20gr 2400 with my Enfield under the Lee 185gr. RN. They did well.
You can miss fast & you can miss a lot, but only hits count.
