RCBS vs Lyman replacement cutter head

Not sure if I'm asking this in the right place, but I've done a search but cant seem to find an answer.

Are the replacement cutter heads for the RCBS case trimmer and Lyman case trimmer interchangeable? Or are they different size and thread?

    Thanks, Dale

    Hello Dale,

I know the RCBS is 3/8-24, not sure what the Lyman is.

My Lyman is larger than 3/8 it measures .429 on the cutter head threads closer to 7/16

If you are in need of a sharper cutter get the carbide cutter if that is an option with your tool. You will be a long while wearing it out. They are not cheap however.

Some of the manufacturers have a send in option to get your non carbide cutters sharpened at a fair price as well.

I took my cutter head to the local saw sharpener. He put an edge on it that beat factory all to pieces.
