    Titewad for reduced rifle loads

I have plenty f the "standard" fast and medium pistol powders, but I found an unopened pound of Titewad in my dad's stuff and wonder if it might be useful in place of Unique, Herco, etc., in reduced cast bullet rifle loads?

Rich, keep it out of your rifles! I fooled with titewad a lil and used published data for 9mm & 45acp, was not happy with it as at start loads it would sometimes have a slight hangfire & when at max or if a load went .1gr over it gave weird pressure signs. It does work well for soft recoil 7/8 and 1 ounce 12ga loads, JMHO that's where it should be kept at.
An old Cherokee was teaching his grandson about life. "Inside me two wolves fight," he told the boy.
"One is evil - he is anger, envy, greed, arrogance, self-pity, resentment, lies, false pride, and ego. The other is good - he is joy, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, generosity, truth and faith. The same fight is inside you - and every other person, too."
The grandson thought for a minute and asked,"Which wolf will win?"
The old Cherokee replied, "The one you feed."

Good to know. I wonder of I can find some data for it in 16 gauge trap loads?

Titewad is too fast for a 16 gauge....
    RQ (burn rate) = 55

It's closer in burn rate to Bullseye than Unique so I see no reason not to at least try it. Red Dot is faster than Titegroup and it is quite useful in rifle/ cast. It should be easy to try in .22 Hornet first.
