Don't like being hammered by the Cast Boolits Staff, then don't be a nail.
The rules are simple to follow.
My reading comprehension is often very good, HOWEVER my writing skills sometimes leave something to be desired.
The line below is what I wrote.
We might be splitting a hair here but I would agree that BP fouling is hydroscopic. From all that I have I have read on the subject BP is not corrosive.
What I intended to write in the second sentence left out the word "fouling" following "BP".
I intended it to have been written like this:
We might be splitting a hair here but I would agree that BP fouling is hydroscopic. From all that I have I have read on the subject BP fouling is not corrosive.
Perhaps if you think that statement is in error, we can use data and discuss it with out personal attacks. I hope we can.

Chill Wills
Chill wills is right ya know - lets split another hair - if you can keep the moisture out the actual powder residue is not corrosive - we live in a dry enough environment (low low humidity) that we can park a fired blackpowder gun for two or three weeks over summer without any problems - not a smart idea cuz we forget and two weeks turns into months and eventually enough moisture is attracted that it wiill rust ----- same slack approach over winter does not work - not even close.
