Had some seasonal dishes today.

The wife fried some thin sliced and breaded chicken breast, boned off, and some zucchini cakes, she makes out of zucs she runs thru the food processor, the adds flour, egg and some garlic salt. Fried them and the chicken in half bacon grease/bear lard. Also had some coleslaw she made from cabbage out of the garden. Everything we had, came off our farm, and it is 10x better than the processed stuff you get out of the store.

Isn't that the truth?! My garden is late because of weather, but stuff is starting to come in. I'm excited to be eating good stuff soon.

Thinned lettuce 2 days ago, had a big bowl of micro green salad! Tasty stuff! Picked, washed, ate!

Ate a couple of beets and kolrabis, a few more days and I'll have some creamed peas and new potatoes, and maybe a few green beans. All with home raised beef.

We have had lettuce, spinach, broccoli, and artichokes from our garden so far.
The garlic is harvested and curing as we speak.
Hot weather crops are ways off yet, but looking good
