Anyone know which 220 shotgun forearm fits a 22 Hornet barrel, or is it unique to the 22 Hornet? I've got a 20 Ga forearm that fits, but not very well.

M-220 shotgun barrels are of a larger diameter than M-219 rifle barrels, although, as you found out, some are close, but no cigar.
IIRC, M-219 rifle barrels are the same OD, so you would need to either find M-29 rifle forend wood (the FE metal is identical) or alter M-220 FE wood.
