    Great Deal

    I answered a WTS thread on an other forum for some lead, described as:
    Clean linotype....8+ lbs (he threw in a bunch of stips of soft lead used for stained glass)
    Wheel weight ingots(clean)...67+ lbs
    Wheel weight scrap(clips still attached)...43 lbs
    Range fired bullets...63+ lbs

    The the shocker; $50 for the lot, an hour drive one way...but yea I jumped on it.

    The ingots have kind of a ring to them and still very shiny, so will have to test them for zinc just in case. But even if they do have zinc, they can still be used for fishing weights. I didn't connect his other ads or would have bought that too, he has everything for the 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser, mold, dies, checks and brass for just $100, but didn't want to inconvenience him by asking him to go back and get those too. Oh well, I will have to "settle" for the lead I guess.

    Great deal! Even if the range scrap and WW process down some, that's probably at least 150#. 33¢ a pound is just a 'skosh off from free in my book.
