    Old shot gun roll crimp

    Not sure where or when I got this.
    If anyone know more about it, I'd like to know.

    I have two of them

    Its exactly what you think it is.

    Put in the loaded shell. " these were for the old paper ones" but will work with plastic and crank away.

    It will friction weld the lip down.

    Got one just like it, it works well!

    Mine had a tendency to want to spin the shell under pressure. Some rubber on the handle that forces them up solved it.

    That is a neat old shotshell crimper, the new ones you spin in a drill or drillpress work much better though.
