    Powder prices

My local gun store has a lot of powder on sale. He has red dot bullseye unique green dot blue dot and a few more for 19:89 a lb. thought that was a decent deal on powder. What is your local price ?

Here in DFW our options aren't that good. Bass Pro and Cabela's. SW Ammunition, Scheel's, GunMaster, and Ray's are the ones I know.

I wish I could get the Dot powders for $20 a can. Eight pounders for $127? I'd kill for those prices. I can't get it online for that.

I believe my last primer purchase was Selway Arms in Missoula. Bosnian mfg primers. They all went bang for me. I am having problems finding deals on primers.

$25.00-$32.00 in these parts. Just bought a bottle of Tite-Group and it was $25.00. H-4895 was $27.00. Primers are $36.00/1000. All at LGS. Don't have a clue about the chains.

I have had a hard time finding Varget. No one in my town had any in stock. Cabela’s an hour away from me didn’t have any either when I drove past to check. I was in the Quad cities and called all the local reloading facilities I could find on line and zero luck. I came back to Wisconsin today and stopped at the gas station in Dubuque to gas up. I did a Google search on my phone while fueling. I found a place called tri State outdoors. They had a dozen 1 pound cans of Varget in stock but they were pretty proud of it. Felt I got gouged but I was still tickled to find a pound. It was 3799+ tax. It was $40 and some change with Uncle Sam. My butt still hurts but I have powder.
