I’ve owned and used Lyman equipment for over 40 years and I’ve never heard a good word said about any Automatic Primer Feed from Lyman. As with many others on this forum, I do all of my priming off-press (except when using the Star or Dillon progressives) so this is not a concern to me... but if you are determined to “do it all” on a Lyman press, I would suggest you read bedbugbilly’s post. It may also be (as I gather from reading your later posts) that the new unit was just stiff and needed to be worked in. If so, you will go down in my book as someone who has something good to say about auto priming on a Lyman press... and this is a good thing!
