Real GS are by background machinists, tool and die makers etc. Hard to find these days. The American Rifleman used to be written for them. How to make your own Falling Block rifle etc

Tell me about it. I'd love to find a young guy who can still see to train up to take over when I step down. But finding someone with the necessary skill set who wants to work for gunsmith wages and doesn't seem to have some emotional problems has so far been impossible.
