The wife and I for the most part, live a self sustainable lifestyle, we raise a garden all year long, spring, summer and winter, we both hunt and kill several deer each year, have chickens and eggs. Tonight I had the filet mignon out of a big buck I killed last year, floured and seasoned with Cavender's Greek seasoning, eggs over easy, has browns and biscuits with some home made jam on them. All the stuff fried was in a 50/50 mix of bacon grease/bear lard, best stuff on the planet, and bear lard was used in the home made biscuits as well. I could not have had a better meal in town at any price.
