I do still check in and see who needs what, but I haven’t actually posted anything in a while.
Man...what trying times we are all in right now. This year has proven to be a real beast for some, and some good friends of ours are encapsulated in that statement.
Cliff notes style:
Baby was born and spent his first few months in the NICU. Several pretty invasive surgeries later, he’s a basically normal 9mo old kiddo. But his “pooper” is still not working the way it should. So he had to have daily squirt tubes inserted and get hosed out (pardon my descriptive wording).
The other boy is almost 3 and a quite normal one at that. Included is randomly screaming, hitting baby brother, being sweet, being unpredictable, and super active all at once. Most parents here will immediately relate.
Both Black (last name, not color) parents are frazzled, emotionally spent, and really just need a break.
And on top of all of that, everything covid related here in Southern California.
I would very much appreciate y’all joining us in praying for the Blacks, with some emphasis on Baby Black. He really needs that colon issue resolved- permanently.
