Gotta love the bickering that goes on in these forums. Love my lee pot and that fix made all the difference. I clean my pot pretty regularly so the valve with an added weight works just fine for me.

I suppose some have had Not Too Long service...
But, I've heard several members comment on the years/decades of trouble free service they got out of the Lee 4-20 furnace. I am at 10 years with mine, and I keep a log of casting sessions, I am up to 246 casting sessions, most are a couple hours each. I've never had to take it apart yet to fix anything. I think that's pretty good for a $60 electric tool.
Just curious and a little off topic. Do you have a record log of casting sessions? I know there are some people that are that detailed about their life - and it can have advantages. I am somewhat challenged in that regard. I apply Triage to my efforts. Recording casting sessions ? Hmmm-Okay.

Didn’t your moma ever tell you if you didn’t have anything nice to say? Because that applies to my thread. Please suspend all further petty and non-constructive remarks so when people look back at this post for help they don’t read a bunch of petty useless comments watering down the value of the thread.
