Has anyone tried Berry's .311 123gr bullets?????
I didn't have any luck with the 30 Carbine bullets.
Many I've talked to haven't had much luck with any of their bullets.

I’ve shot some of their plated bullets in 9, 40, 45 without issue.
Berry's are just fine.
You can't drive plated bullets 3500 fps though.
Don't forget.

Load data for our Superior Plated Bullets® can be found in any manual or on any powder manufacturer’s website.
Cast or jacketed data with the same grain weight and profile will work with our bullets.
You can use a taper or a roll crimp.
Don’t over crimp the brass after seating. This causes bullet core separation, leading to increased copper fouling and accuracy issues.
Don’t exceed the recommended maximum velocities listed. This creates bullet core separation and accuracy issues.
Berry's max recommended velocity is not exceeded. (This info is displayed on bullet boxes and product webpages.)
Berry's FAQ:
How fast can I shoot these bullets?
Standard Plate Bullets Max Velocity: 1,250 fps.
Thick-Plate Bullets (TP) Max Velocity: 1,500 fps.
Taper or Roll Crimp?
You can use both the Taper and Roll Crimp on Berry's Bullets.
We recommend a light crimp on the bullet, just enough to put pressure against the bullet without denting or deforming the plating. If you were to pull the bullet out of a case with the proper crimp you would find no more than a scratch on the surface of the plating. If you are denting or deforming the bullet, your accuracy will suffer and the bullet may start to tumble before it hits the target.

I use Berry's in my Marlin 1894 44mag with good results at about 2000fps.
My Beretta 81 32ACP really likes the 71gr. Berry's RN 2.3gr HP38 Gp
I shoot these almost exclusively in my 9 40 45 and 10mm because they are cheap. The only berry rifle bullet i have used was the 150gn fp and it shoots great for 300bo although i think it was meant for 30-30. But i shoot hard cast pc bullets to 2500fps with 1 moa accuracy so i would think a plated should work.
I've been using them in my AK with IMR4198 for around 1950 fps. Good plinking bullet.
The few things I've gotten from Berry over the years, including .357 and .44 SWC bullets, have been excellent. I believe their vib. tumblers and impact bullet pullers are the very best tools of their types on the market.
I have to suspect that people who have "trouble" with Berry's stuff aren't doing things correctly.
I haven't used that 0.311 bullet, I've had pretty reasonable luck with them in other calibers.
I think the key is to remember that they're not a jacketed bullet and load them to reasonable velocities. You also have to flare the case enough and crimp them gently...
Berry is my most often used bullet. I use the 30-30 150 grain flat nose in the 30-30 and in the 300BLK. I push it at 1840fps from a 1in7 twist bolt action with Alliant 2400 in the BLK, and it is 1 MOA accurate at 100yards. In the 30-30, I shoot it at 1780 FPS.
I shoot them in my 9 mm, 40 sw, 41 mag, 44 mag/spcl and 50AE, but no rifle calibers with no problems.

224 bullets are having problems with the sizing of them. They are ranging from 0.222"-0.225". Lots of reports of this on several AR15 forums. As long as they don't go under 0.3095" you should be good to go. Are they plated or jacketed? I would rather shoot lead over the plated bullets.
Berry's make good bullets but switched to https://www.evergladesammo.com/ a few years ago
kids that hunt and fish dont mug old ladies
Are Berry's boolits good for hunting, or just paper punching?
