    Bullet Identification

In a recent bulk buy i got a hold if at least a box worth of unmarked 9mm bullets. They are obviously pulls, measure out at .355 and weigh 100g. They also seem way to long for .380. The most identifiable feature is the #2 stamped into the base of the bullet.

Worst case if no one can ID them I will load them mid-range for an equitable weight known bullet and dispose of them the fun way rather than dump them in the scrap bucket.

They look like lead-free frangible training ammo bullets.
You can miss fast & you can miss a lot, but only hits count.

Smash one with a hammer and report back. If frangible should almost crumble not obturate like lead.

Try a magnet before a hammer. If you got a WWII steel core, shut up and stash them for SHTF situations.
