Lyman 45 and Lee Load all Jr

Found these behind some boxes of ammo
    Probably posted here before.
    Load-all is 12ga. Looks un-used.

Back when I was younger and (more) foolish, I believed the advertising for both Active shotshells and the Lee Load All. The shells were touted as being specially designed for good, multiple reloading and of course the press was supposed to be so simple a child could use it.

The shells that didn’t crack on their initial firing (factory loads) were difficult to load consistently with the Lee press and only tended to survive a couple of leadings before cracking. This was categorized by me as an unsuccessful experiment And both press and the few remaining cases were set aside. When I started loading shotgun shells again for skeet (20 ga only) I got a MEC 600 Jr and a few hundred WW AAs and never looked back.

Not every idea they have in the reloading game is a good one!

Agreed... and the included old sticks of Ideal lube are probably the old black stuff that has been doing yeoman service for bullet casters for a century or more. I see them on evil Bay for eye watering prices.
