    Chaszel adapters

    Just ordered a 7 1/2" . 38 Special rifled adapter for .410
shotgun. First time buy from Chaszel. I own Short Lane ones
and their quality is great. From Chaszel site the quality appears equal.
I planned to use my new adapter in my 20 ga. NEF using a Savage .410 adapter, but I'm tempted to buy a single shot .410 for a dedicated .410/.38.
Chaszel has a good website, but after purchase notification leaves a bit to be desired. (No email order verification).

I have one as well. Ordered the shorter one but they were out (website said in stock) and they contacted me and offered me the longer one (18") for the same price. Quality looks to be as good as the Short Lane. Have both, one in 357 and one in 45LC. Like Markopolo I haven't had a chance to do a lot of work with either. I bought Savage/Stevens 94's to use them in and have epoxied scope bases on them. Maybe the range will reopen some day.

I have a LOT of the Short Line adapters. They come in real handy for developing loads that you can't find any book data for or for shooting up the loads that aren't up to your expectations. Easier and more fun that using an inertia bullet puller. Accuracy is somewhat dubious. Gp

I want an 18" 20 gauge to .357 one. Have an old beat up barrel that'll fit on a Savage 219 action. Have to figure out sights or a scope mount.

I have a 7 1/2 " one for my Stevens 410. It would NOT fit in my folding Yiltz 410 however.

    I bought 2 for 20 ga- 327 Fed (5 ")and 357/38 (8"). Only single shot shotgun I have in 20ga is a Rossi with 2 barrels, 20ga and 22lr.
They work well, I'm just a little inaccurate with a single bead and no shotshells. My goal is to get some rifle sights or some kind of red dot sight.

I have the 32 s&w long for 410 and use it in a rossi youth single shot for the grand kids. It's a lot of fun. I'm happy with the quality.

On youtube, ZRUS Outdoors Channel, he shows how to put a red dot mount on a 12 And/or 20 fauge singleshot shotgun. Todd/3leg

How do they work the extractor system.? On a U tube video the guy pulled out the case with his fingers. I would have thought there would be a groove to hook a screwdriver in or something.
Does the adaptor have a cut out so the gun extractor does not pull it out each time?

I received a notification almost instantly and a shipping notice a short while later. Maybe your email got messed up in there system, the site is rather slow.

The 2 I bought, one did and one didn't.
If I remember correctly, the 5in 327/32 adapter is the one that didn't. I simply ground out the cutout using the other adapter as a reference.

I have 2 of his 12 ga. adapters. 1 in .45 Colt and 1 in .45 acp. I use them in a "Hatfield" break open. The gun has a rib and it is easy to find either a scope mount or set of open sights to attach to the rib. With this gun it's child's play to remove the extractor. They're a lot of fun. Here's an old pic of the gun.

I've found that experimenting with o-ring size has a big effect on accuracy.

The adapter has a cut out so you ca. Remove the case easily. I position tbe cut out opposite of the ejector.
