Freightman, I will say a prayer for you on this, but.....God always has a plan and he's very aware of your needs at this time. He'll do it in his own way. It will work out OK in the end.

I am sure the Lord will guide us to the right man. He has always looked over me and protected me from myself. In 1993 I thought I was a fork lift was loading 450# slipped and took out my back, ended my freight days I had no saving to speak of no income and bills. Tried for a short while to figure what to do that failed fast. Said to self you have always said you believed in God now take him at his word depend wholly on Him. I never missed a meal never lost a thing and make more $ than ever and if you ask me how I can't tell you because it was nothing I did except place me and my family in the hands of GOD>!!

Frank, I have conversed with a lot of pulpit committee chairman helping them move forward. What I know of you showed me the Lord will guide you to the right man to Shepard that flock.
Praying that God reveals His will.
Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty.
Been here twice so far. First job is to get the entire Church praying for this process. Second job is to assess the Church to determine the needs of the body. This is when you will find any disunion in the body. Next and ongoing job is to find replacement pulpit fills. Expect a one to two year process - and plan on having somebodies to fill the pulpit for this time.
Now you are more free to start looking for a more permanent pastor.

I am praying for you, your congregation and the man that God has prepared to lead your congregation.
It's a tough job at hand , I have been on a pulpit committee . But your doing it right . Seeking GOD's will , taking the time . It's my prayer ya'll find one soon but in the meantime it gives the laymen the opportunity to step up . GOD is in control , just lean on him . I know you will . I'll be praying for you and your church .
