The ammo pouch and oiler is Mosin. The tool looks like maybe a sight pusher??? It defiantly didn't come with the Mosin kit.

Exactly what wddodge said, but the oiler is often found with Commie SKS rifles also.

the thing that looks like a miniature barrel vise would probably work nicely for taking the firing pin apart. Might help keep the firing pin sproing from making that noise!

Could also be for an SVT40. They used the same pouches as mosins. Was that in the box of goodies I sent a long time ago? If it was then they were Mosin for sure.

    Must be!
I have a couple of Moisins to play with now. And play time, too!

I believe that little gizzo at the bottom is to adjust the sight up and down on Mosin Nagants and possibly the SKS as well.
Suspect the barrel vise looking thing is to drift the front sight as mentioned above. Does the screw fit against the dovetail?

The Mosin front sights do not adjust for elevation (up or down). Range slide is for elevation. Too early a design, no screw in front sight.
Most of the tanks are gone and the windows don't rattle anymore. I won't be able to sleep now.

I got the same items every time that I bought a RUSSIAN rifle from a dealer, not private purchase. and yes the little GIZZY is indeed a sight adjuster.

    For what sights?

It may (on a Mosin Nagant) move the front sight left to right, but that is not elevation.
