    Loading .44 Russian

    I have Lee .44 Special dies. Can I also load .44 Russian with them? I will want to load the same bullet, a coated cast lead 240 gr. SWC.

    Yes, the only problem will be if you need to crimp. Your die may not sit down enough to crimp the shorter case. Same case, same shell holder, same die.

    RCBS sells a separate .44 RU roll crimp die, also one in .45 auto rim. I have both and they do the job. GF
