Any powder coat better than Eastman Ford Light Blue?

I am almost 3/4 through a pound of Eastmans Ford light blue powder. Are there any better powders out there?

Are there any blacks as good as Eastman's Ford light blue?

    Thanks

Ford blue is great. I tried Chevy orange once and the towel got soaked in oil, danged bullets kept leaking.

Boy that hits close to home. I'm a Chevy guy but my Chevy is in the shop right now with an oil leak!! Apparently it's a $616 oil leak. Grrrrrr

I wouldn't know, but Smoke's are all I've ever used. Not sure why I'd change?

I started using Prismatic Powders out of White City, Oregon. I found their prices competitive and their service prompt. 6500 colors to choose from but some a crinkle finish which I would avoid. As far as black goes, I was trying to find something in a satin finish. Even that came out looking like it was dripping wet when cured.

I don't do blue as blue was a training color when I was still an active LEO. Purple for 'Barney Boolits' Tecate Green for 'Zombie Boolits' Sparkle Pink for 'Barbie Boolits' and a mix of powders which I put together to make 'FMJ.' I predominately ASBBPC but the FMJ has to be ESPCd to get it right.

BTW, Prismatic black was $9 a pound. Their shipping prices are high because they overnight things. I just order it up and drive to white city and pick it up the next day at the store when I visit family in Medford.

That sounds about right!! I had one of the older Tritons 07 and it was nothing to write home about, this one has the Coyote motor, me like it a lot. Ford makes it- Coyote shakes it

If you think Chevy Orange was bad, give Detroit Green a try....

I didn't know that there was that much variation in performance between different colors. I have not started coating yet. Hoping to next month and knowing what colors perform better is very helpful.
