WTS Custom 22 K Hornet with brass and dies

Hi good folks.

I have a custom built H and R handi rifle for sale.

This is a barrel stubbed rifle built by David White of D and T Custom Gunworks.

22 K-Hornet
Heavy stainless barrel with deep crown and satin finish
Beautiful stock, not sure what kind of wood
Bedded forend
Wonderful trigger
Dies cut to match chamber
Fair amount of brass.....maybe 75 or 100 pieces....I have to count
Bedded weaver scope base installed by the builder
Absolute precision build, with every detail done by a master gun builder.

The only big drawback is that this gun is quite HEAVY because of the length and thickness of the barrel.
I asked David with D&T a couple years ago, and he said he could shorten it to take off weight if desired

There were a couple tiny specs on the barrel where I must have grabbed it and not wiped it down with Ballistol last time I pulled it out. I will double check that those are still visible and send pictures of that if they will show up.

Yes the rifle will come with the custom cut dies that match the chamber. It will also include the brass, scope base, and rings for a 1 inch tube scope.

Sorry forgot the barrel length. 25" from breech to muzzle.

This rifle could easily be rechambered to another 22 caliber cartridge and the barrel cut down to save weight. But 22k hornet is a snorty little cartridge and sips powder. This particular barrel uses standard diameter 22 projectiles and is super easy to load for.

We used 35gr v max up to 52 grain fmj with one ragged hole results pretty much being the norm.

No sorry it's not. The builder, David White, I know used to thread those all the time for the larger calibers. I would assume it would be an easy task for guys like him to thread it.
