I have a Ideal mold marked 199.
It looks to be a hollow base wad cutter.
Maybe 38 cal.
Anyone have any idea the size and weight.

Uggggg!!
I should have taken a picture.
I'll pull it out and post a picture.
Check the other side of the mold for more numbers

The three numerals are not the mold size or design #. That is the tracking number to keep the two halves of the mold together in manufacturing, I believe. There should be two sets of three numbers on the other side of the mold to describe the size and reamer #.

I got it.
Had to clean it to find the numbers.

The old classic .38 HB wadcutter. Shoots good at moderate velocities in the .38 Special. Do you have the base plug?/beagle
