I just found out that John Gallagher has passed away after a long battle with cancer. John was a pistolsmith extraordinaire but he was also known locally for some excellent rifles works too. I talked with John about 6 mo ago and he had lost 56 lbs and was feeling bad but he kept working right up to his passing on 4-14. We lost a real artist and I lost a friend. Rest in peace brother.
