I have a 60"Wide x 58"Tall x 20"deep steel box that securely stores long tools.
I have just been lining/leaning them up against the back wall, but that is not adequate any longer. Too much bumping, banging and somehow procreating going on inside the box.
The current usage allows only 60 linear inches of real estate.
I would like to make some sort of slide out racking, so I can just pull out an individual rack and access one tool at a time from either side without disturbing any others.
If I were to get four, two sided, racks of 18 inches deep, I could have 8x18" or 144 linear inches of real estate. almost two and a half times the storage in the same floor space.
Something like this, just not as elaborate......

Any ideas spring to your mind? Even just partial thoughts welcome, to get my brain going. I am just having a mind blank at the moment.
What kind of slider mechanism? Sufficiently strong and able to slide 20 inches. One bottom and top or two at bottom and one on top?
Attaching the assembly to the inside of single wall box, without welding. (nicely painted inside and out already) I could bolt through the sides and back, but not the doors on the front. maybe one strong rail from side to side for front slide attachment.
Thinking it needs to be all metal, with no wood to hold moisture, chemicals or oils.
Thanks for any small tidbits you may have.
